Twice Monthly Program: This one year program is for those who have had an introductory experience with Gestalt therapy and want to take next steps to gain more understanding about our theory and to learn essential skills to integrate theory with practice. The format will include assigned readings, didactic demonstrations and dedicated practice time. There will be an emphasis on how Contemporary Gestalt Therapy can be adapted to be sensitive to current and future demographic field conditions. In a series of twice monthly two hour groups, this program will provide opportunity for personal and professional growth while supporting learning goals of each member.

This workshop series integrates Buddhist psychology and mindfulness meditation into Gestalt therapy training, providing in-depth exposure to Gestalt theory and practice, as well as an overview of Buddhist psychology concepts and meditation practices. The intersection of the two approaches is explored.

This three weekend workshop series is for those who have completed two or more years of training with GTTC-NW, or who have equivalent training in Gestalt therapy, a meditation/Buddhist psychology background, and intermediate to advanced level of clinical experience. This program continues with knowledge and skill-building in Gestalt therapy theory and practice and Buddhist psychology views and meditation methods, supporting and deepening meditation practice and understanding of support of Buddhist psychology and meditation for the Gestalt therapist. Provides opportunity for personal and professional growth, and supports individual learning goals for each group member.

This one year program is for those who have completed a minimum of 5 years of training with GTTC-NW. In a series of monthly 3 hour groups, this program builds on Gestalt therapy training, developing in-depth knowledge of theory and practice, and supporting movement for trainees toward supervision, writing, presenting and training. Participants have the opportunity for review of videotaped sessions, case and theory presentation, and observing trainers working with trainees’ patients.
